Two New Admissions Directors Hired to Lead Loyola's Enrollment Efforts

10/01/2014 - 14:11

Susan Oakes and Margaret ‘Molly’ Robinson joined the Loyola community in October 2014 to lead Loyola's enrollment efforts.  Susan joins us as Director of Admissions and Molly takes on the role of Director of Operations and Technology.

Oakes is a visionary professional with a proven track record of conceptualizing and launching recruitment initiatives that resulted in measurable enrollment growth at the College of Charleston. Starting at the College of Charleston in 2001, Oakes was promoted through five enrollment positions - becoming the Director of Admission and Recruitment in 2013. As director, she restructured and led an admissions team; directing all aspects of the admissions process, which expanded enrollment both nationally and internationally to reach targeted enrollment goals each year.

Robinson started at New College of Florida in 2003, and has held several positions, including Associate Director of Admissions and Director of Recruitment, before her appointment as Director of Admissions  Operations in 2011. She has a full complement of experience in admissions, including managing regional markets, directing all freshmen recruitment efforts within a newly established recruitment plan, and leading the successful efforts of implementing new technology.

Both individually and collectively, Susan and Molly bring a depth of experience in admissions that demonstrates keen awareness of today’s markets, knowledge of maneuvering through diverse markets, application of data-driven decision-making, and a core belief in the value of the liberal arts degree.

Loyola was assisted in the search by Mary Napier and Robin Reynders of Napier Executive Search, a firm specializing in enrollment management placements. Both Susan and Molly were the unanimous first choice candidates of the search committee and the enrollment management team.
